School Lunches

Hailey School wants to give children a positive eating experience that encourages good table manners and dining etiquette. We actively encourage all our children to have school lunches as research shows they are beneficial to children’s health, social development and learning.

Our food is cooked fresh on the premises by our kitchen manager, with fresh and locally sourced ingredients which provide an exciting menu for the children to enjoy. From May 2023, the cost is £2.45 a meal and meals should be paid for through ParentPay.

Our food is sourced through Oxfordshire County Council.

Self-service salad and vegetable bars promote independence and children are encouraged through supervision to ensure at least one vegetable and/or salad is selected.

The school has also invested in new crockery and furniture to further improve the dining hall.
