The Governing Body works with the Head Teacher to drive the strategic development of the school and to monitor and evaluate its performance. We ensure that the school is accountable to the children and parents it serves, to its
local community and to the staff it employs. Our school vision, values and aims set out how we want to develop our
school and we have agreed a 5 year plan which has clear targets for the academic, spiritual and moral development of the children in our care as well as our responsibilities to staff and the local community.
Individual governors and sub-committees are responsible for reporting to the Governing Body on progress across a range of areas, including statutory responsibilities and progress against our School Raising Achievement Plan ( the equivalent of an annual business plan for schools.)
In addition working groups are formed on an as-needs basis to address particular areas of importance.
