Collective Act of Worship

We hold a daily act of collective worship in accordance with statutory DfES guidance.  These occasions are usually whole-school events in the school hall, but once a week separate class assemblies are held in each classroom.

Assemblies are mainly Christian in nature, but may include aspects from other faiths and cultures. We also explore the values from our Values Education and SEAL programmes.  Pupils are encouraged to participate and are invited to join with us in periods of quiet prayer or reflection.

Parents have the right to withdraw their children from Collective Acts of Worship.  Please arrange an appointment to discuss the implications of this, if it is something you want to consider. A copy of our policy is available under the policies section of the web.
